This cable is equipped with an electronic amplifier allowing to repeat the USB 2.0 signal 480Mbps up to 36m by connecting them end to end.
It is possible to connect 5 units in cascade to reach a distance of 60m from your computer, the transfer rate will be less sustained and varies according to the peripherals used beyond the distance of 36m.
