The LINDY USB 2.0 Cat.5 UTP Extender 100m can be used to increase the distance between a USB device and a host computer up to 100m. It consists of a local unit that connects to the computer and a remote unit that connects to the device. A standard and low cost UTP Cat.5 / 5e / 6 network cable (not supplied) is then used to connect the connection between the two units.

Connecting a USB hub to the receiver also provides additional access to more USB devices. For added convenience, this USB 2.0 extension comes with a power supply, which can be connected when additional power is required.

Please note: this extender is not compatible for use with webcams
